I put it out of escrow the day I ordered (finalized), since he insisted I do it to make his operation run smooth. This was my very first purchase on SL, so I figured why not. Moreover, I've had other sellers deliver successfully to the address / name combination, so I know it's not an issue. He claims he reshipped it last week and promised Tuesday or Wednesday delivery. Well it's Friday, and my PMs from Wednesday night are still unanswered.
Is it to late to start a resolution center case? How do I do that?

the resolve button next to your order becomes highlighted and you can click that for something like 18-26 days after the resolve button highlights. It's just for you and him to talk about a resolution and if decides not to interact with you for a week or so contact Silk Road about it...but if it was out of escrow, I don't see you getting Silk Road to give you a refund since it is out of Silk Road guidelines for site use.
Out of Escrow means you take full responsibility for your actions, outcome good or bad.

totally. he's just some twat who figured he could sell his drugs, build up a rep, and then try to use that rep to cash in. hopefully no one took him up on his BS "identity" packages. id be looking for new sellers that pop up, or that have popped up recently, selling similar items to what he was selling before. also, notice his writing style and see if it matches any new listings. he's still here and he's still gonna wanna make money where he can................. it is our job as consumers to fuck him out of business for fucking one of us.

I don't buy it. I think it fair that you allow the man a chance to defend his name and honor before further speculations, which in my eyes are presently unfounded. We are speaking of a couple days correct? Nothing substantial in the grand scheme. I lose a few days every month to the madness and entropy of the world. Don't get me wrong, I understand the nature of the net, blind eyes and closed doors and whatnot. But to foster such mistrust over small times and scales is astoundingly counterproductive to all our work here. Give benefit to those who have earned it, and Mr. Crane has earned my trust. I'm just a person, albeit not a perfect one, but a person who is certainly not here to mislead, or lie, or steal. Sit down, take a breath, and see where this road takes us (dark voyages and icebergs aside). It is early, and my head quakes, and it is hard to listen to the rabble. Respect and patience is all I ask, something which I would freely give you and which I would ask in return. It is light, and certainly too late for sleep.

This kind of talk is out of line. Why you finalized your order? In such case, risk is solely on you, nobody forced you.
You gave him neg rep and that is it. But you do not have to talk like this to anyone here! Its nobody fault then yours.
You started a new thread and wrote many post about this case. No vendor has to explain why he list down or anything else.
Most importantly, you and only you finalized transaction.
You can post and ask questions and concerns, but in polite and respectful way! If you dont show respect what can you expect in return?
Speculations lead nowhere, many things could happen.

i doubt he took his listings down because it still says he hasn't logged in. I think they are automatically taken down after a seller does not log in for a set amount of time.
My BTC are in escrow. My concern is a repeat of what happened to me with another vendor. I buy, the BTC drops considerably, the seller sees this, and decides not to ship although he keeps saying he did. I end up with the BTC worth 50% of what I paid for them weeks later.
The value of order when I paid was almost $140. Now it's around $93. I doubt his margins are that large.

Order could be hedged. You can see that when making an purchase. For larger sum it would be smart to hedge it and if hadge is not active to inform a seller to turn it on.

for the record, the cancel option just became available, so I decide to go ahead get my BTC back at 34% loss.
There needs to be a buyer hedging feature.

The one and only time that I put hedged my listings I had an unforseen event. The bitcoin tanked (whats new?) and when the bitcoin was released back to the buyers the next day the bitcoin made a huge comeback and they actually made a 30 percent gain.. They were actually grateful about the situation they too, didn't realize that when you hedge it benefits both the buyers and or vendors..... I just wish that the vendor had the option to hedge some items and not others, right now its all or nothing..

as a fellow vendor, i wanted to chime in.
I have ordered from MR. Crane a couple times, and every time was PERFECT.. he got his packages out and to me faster than anyone else i have dealt with, and ALWAYS communicated with me... and i am sure he was getting tons of orders besides mine as well...
Believe me, i know how it is to fill orders timely and get them out to my peeps, and unless you are a full time online drug dealer, SHIT HAPPENS.. we all have lives outside of SR, for example... i had an event one weekend that i needed to go to the ER, guess what? i didnt log into SR for three days, it put me on vacation mode and pulled my listings (which is good, this way they did not pile up) but when i was back, i told everyone i was behind and started playing catch up.. it took me a week to get back on track because of that... only because i have limited time per day to commit to SR
No matter how we look at it, take a breath and look at the big picture... we are selling illegal items on the internet.. this is not eBay, or Amazon.. every time you open your mailbox and see your package, remember that you are lucky the USPO didn't take it from you.. every time you place an order, there is a possibility that money is gone for good...
as far as the Fake ID's go, it shouldn't be our place to question how he does it, or it could jeopardize the process. if you are willing to fork over 5k with the "possibility" of receiving your product, in this case the ID, then do it.. but if you cant afford to lose 5k, then get a fake ID in your hometown and risk a f2f bust. or better yet get your ass beat and leave you in an ally somewhere and still get your 5k taken from you...

Agreed. +1. $50 is not much. But it is enough to get rowdy about. AND principles. Don't get me started. I am a real stickler for principles. Glad some people still have them. But I tell you what, after hearing a lot of people vouch for you, I will go ahead and change my feedback on SL for the transaction we did. If you are in fact an honest dealer and others want to continue to do business with you, then I do not want to be the reason for others to loose their favorite seller.
I just don't know what and who to believe anymore. It does appear VERY odd in my book to have two packages go MIA in a row. Then again, shit happens. SO, let's forget we ever did business and go our separate ways. I don't want to be responsible for you no longer providing services to others that had nothing to do with this matter, and may suffer because of this.
Also, I admit I might have over reacted a little. I sometimes let my emotions take the lead and I unload my thoughts uncensored. But you have to understand, I came to this place expecting a much more pleasant experience and instead, on my very first transaction, shit went south.
My Apologies to all! My tone was uncalled for, and I should have used better judgement and manners to resolve this issue. Instead I chose to be a prick.

Product arrived today, more than pleased. Mr. Crane went out of his way to be forward and helpful, and I've been blown away with his generosity and professionalism. He did my order even after everyone had kicked up a stink on here, so he didn't really have any obligation. It's a huge shame to see him leave Silk Road, there's so many douchebags and crims in this business, it's heartwarming to see an old school dude on here who wants to help a brother out. Big thanks and big props. :)
